Context

  • Localization management platform for product, engineering, and translation workflows
  • Combines governed AI assistance, CLI/CI sync, translation key management, and OTA text delivery
  • Already used in ROE Check-it as production proof inside a real customer product
  • Built for teams that need faster release cycles without losing quality control

Localization work often becomes invisible engineering overhead. Teams add keys, chase missing translations, copy text between tools, review wording manually, and then wait for the next app or web release before users see the change.

ReRune turns that operational work into a product system. It gives teams one place to manage translation keys, language coverage, AI-assisted suggestions, project readiness, CLI synchronization, and runtime text delivery.

Proof in ROE Check-it

ReRune is already used in ROE Check-it, the configurable checklist and inspection platform in this portfolio. That matters because ReRune is not only a demo product; it has been exercised inside a real operational software system with real release and content-maintenance pressure.

That empirical use showed time and cost savings compared with manual translation and release coordination. The value came from reducing repeated handoffs, making missing content visible earlier, keeping translation keys synchronized, and shortening the path from approved wording to shipped product text.

  • Less manual coordination between product, engineering, and translation work
  • Faster copy and translation updates for evolving product screens
  • Lower regression risk because missing keys and language coverage are visible before release
  • Clearer release readiness for multilingual product changes

What the product delivers

  • Workspace and project dashboards for localization status and ownership
  • Translation key management across languages, namespaces, and product areas
  • Governed AI assistance with project context instead of uncontrolled text generation
  • CLI and CI/CD synchronization so translations stay connected to the codebase
  • OTA app text delivery for updating supported runtime copy without waiting for an app-store release
  • Coverage visibility for missing keys, incomplete languages, and launch readiness

Delivery model

Because BasalBit builds custom software and mobile applications, ReRune was shaped by the same pressure that customer products face: real screens, real release cycles, mobile delivery constraints, and the need to keep engineering speed high without letting quality drift.

The product keeps translation workflows close to the software lifecycle. Engineers can sync keys through tooling, product teams can review wording in context, and runtime delivery can shorten the loop for supported app text changes.

Contribution note

ReRune is a BasalBit-owned product. We designed and built it as an internal product-engineering system that also proves how we approach SaaS, AI-assisted workflows, developer tooling, and mobile runtime infrastructure.
